Rafael Martinez the owner of Climb Bike Hike Operator is one of Ecuador's top mountain and expedition guides with many summits around the world to his credit.
With 25 years of experience under his belt, Rafael has learned that safety and fun is the key, therefore, he has trained his team accordingly with up to date Rescue and First Aid. As such, the Guide Association approves all of his guides. Likewise, WHITEWATERS RATF recognized as some of the first to pioneer rafting in Ecuador and developing the first commercial rafting on the lower Hondachi and Hollin rivers plus many other first descents. Well known for their small but very professional operation, they too have trained their guides with First Aid Wilderness Responder qualification, ACA kayak instructor and Rescue courses.
