Biking - Rafting -  Camping the Upper Amazon 8D

These are 8 days of rafting and biking just pure fun. Another great program it is an incredible descending from the highlands into the lushtandya1 upper reaches of the Amazon basin.

Day 1: Bike Papallacta – Baeza
Bike the gateway to the Amazon on a stunning descent taking in high altitude forests and crossing numerous rivers, to come to rest at a chilled cloud forest lodge.
Overnight Baeza.

Day 2: Raft the Quijos class IV + / Travel to Tena
The World Rafting Championships were held on this gorgeous canyon run, which gives a good indication to the white water to be expected!

Day 3: Bike down from the Guacamayos to the river Hondachijohn.2
Another great day, taking the plunge from around 2000m cloud forest and finishing at around 1000m jungle; there is so much to see. Overnight Tena                                  

Day 4: Bike to the headwaters of the Upper Napo.
Camp in the jungle by lagoons, bike from Tena to the lagoons and waterfalls situated in primary rain forest and then camp the night in the company of the cacophonous jungle life!

Day 5: Raft out 25km on the Jatunyacu class III
Starting from the camp spot in the famous National Park Los Llaganates this is a big action-packed run.                                                                                                      raft 4

Day 6: Bike to Misahualli to see the monkeys
Stop at waterfall on the way

Day 7: Raft Hondachi Hollin jungle gorge
37 km of technical and big water drops through pristine jungle, a real experience 

Day 8: Return to Quito.

Private transportation: 8 days during the program, food, accommodation, guides, equipment,  Meals: 3 meals a day, except the first and last day are two,                     
(breakfast and snacks), lodging in hotels or cabins according to program, Equipment:
Bike, helmet, gloves and rafting, Guides: Bilingual.

What to bring
