Cotopaxi National Park is a protected area it goes from an altitude of 3.200 up to almost 6.000mts. Due to its near perfect conical shape, Cotopaxi is Ecuador's most famous volcano. We suggest this 3 day program to provide a better opportunity to reach the summit. First day is biking inside the National Pak, second day staying at the refuge and safety briefing techniques, third day climbing to the summit.

Transfer to El Pedregal north entrance 3.800mts. After a short briefing about basic techniques we will start cycling 3 to 4 hours. Overnight and dinner at La Rinconada 3.800mts. (Lunch/Diner/Refuge)

Day 02.- Rinconada – Refuge - Briefing
After breakfast, car drive to the parking area. Hike to the hut 45 minutes +- lunch at the hut, basic climbing techniques briefing outside the refuge. Dinner and rest. (Lunch/Diner/Refuge)
Day 03. – Climbing to Cotopaxi Summit 5.897 mts.
After breakfast before midnight we will departure to the summit following the normal route.  We expect to arrive within 7-8 hours. On the way with good weather, we can observe far in the coto near the top Smalldistance the Mount Chimborazo. On the summit we will enjoy a wonderful view of the crater of this impressive volcano. We descend to the refuge and then to the parking lot. Return to Quito (breakfast/Transfer to Quito)

Transportation (4X4) Quito – Cotopaxi – Quito, ASEGUIM guide 1 for 2 people (for climbing), basic climbing equipment: crampons, harness, ice axe, refuge 2 nights,  Mountain meals during the tour: 2 box lunches, 2 dinners, 2 breakfast, water, tea, coffee, bike equipment: bicycle, helmet and gloves.
