To summit Iliniza North, Cotopaxi and Chimborazo we will start acclimatization with some smaller peaks. Acclimatizing is one of the most important keys to reach your goals. While in the process we provide clients opportunity to visit some wonderful places.

Day 1: Quito – Transfer Incondtr1
Quito overnight hotel. (Transfer/Hotel)

Day 2: Quito - Antisana 4.000mts
Transfer to this protected area 11/2hours. 3 hours hike from 3.000mts to 4.000mts. We will visit La Mica Lagoon, if weather allows on the way we may observe Andean condors (bird symbol of the Reserve and the Republic of Ecuador). We will have lunch while enjoying a great view of Cotopaxi snow pick and other nearby mountains. Return to Quito in the afternoon. (Breakfast/Lunch/Hotel)

Day 3: Quito - Pasochoa 4.200mts
Early departure heading south to Pasochoa.  Throughout its paths we 1024px Pasochoacan watch colorful butterflies, frogs, and other small wild animals. 3 to 4 hours hike to the top where we will have lunch enjoying beautiful views of nearby snow picks. Return to Quito late afternoon. (Brakfast/Lunch/Hotel)

Day 04: Quito - Corazon 4.786mts
This is an arduous hike. It will take us 6 to 7 to reach the top and return. Most of the way is a simple hike until we reach the rim where can get a bit of scrabbling. The hike will take us through beautiful paramo tall grass vegetation. In a clear day from the summit we can enjoy the views of the famous “Avenue of the Volcanoes”. Lunch at the top.  Dinner and overnight at a hostel refuge in Machachi. (Brakfast/Lunch/Hotel)

Day 5: Machachi - Guagua Pichincha 4.784mt
After breakfast, transfer to the slopes of Guagua Pichincha. 4 hours +- of a steady hike will take us to Guagua's summit. This trek will help you to prepare for guaguaclimathigher picks as acclimatization progresses. The views of Quito from the summit are wonderful. Lunch on the way. Transfer to el Chaupi Lodge 3.300mts. Overnight. (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner/Mountain Lodge).

Day 6: El Chaupi 3.600mts
This will be a resting day. After breakfast we will go for a short hike from 3.600mts to 4.0000mts.  Dinner and overnight El Chaupi. (Lunch/Dinner/Hostel)

Day 7: Iliniza Summit 5.116mts
After a very early breakfast departure to the summit following the normal route. Usually this summit has very little snow and it is easily reached without crampons, just good trekking boots. Hiking up and down takes approx. 7 hours then, descend to the refuge and to La Virgin. Transfer to latacunga. (Breakfast/Hotel)IMG 2786

Day 8: Latacunga - Quilotoa Lake 4.000mts
Transfer to Quilotoa, hike down to the Lagoon (+-) 50 minutes inside the crater. Here we will be rewarded with some beautiful views of the Lake and admire its changing colors. Lunch before visiting an Indian community. Overnight in Latacunga. (Breakfast/Hotel)

Day 09: Latacunga - Cotopaxi 5.897mts
After breakfast transfer to Cotopaxi National park. We will continue driving until we reach the parking area. Hike to refuge takes about 45 minutes. Lunch and ice briefing techniques practice outside refuge. Dinner and rest.  (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner/Refuge)IMG 0267

Day 10: Cotopaxi Summit - Baños
We get up around midnight, have breakfast and depart to the summit following the normal route.  Reachinf the summit may take 6 to 7 hours. With good weather, as the sunrises we would enjoy some exceptional views. Descend to the refuge then, to the parking lot and transfer to Baños. (Breakfast/ Hotel)

Day 11: Baños City tour
Today is a well-earned rest day.

Day 12: Baños - Riobamba - chimborazo
Departure after breakfast, heading to Riobamba and continue to Carrel Refuge 4800mts. A short trek will take us to Whimper Hut 5000m. Dinner and rest. (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner/Refuge)

Day 13: Chimborazo Summit 6.310mts - Quito
Breakfast before midnight and departure to the summit. Following the standard route it may take us 8 to 9 hours, on the way you can enjoy great views of the surrounding peaks. Return to the refuge 2 to 3 hours. Transfer to Quito or overnight in Riobamba. (Breakfast/Hotel)chimborazo6

Day 14: Chimborazo Reserve day
visit the first Church built in Southamerica. Riobamba city tour.
Transfer to Quito. (Breakfast/Hotel)

Day 15: Transfer out
Breakafst, transfer out to the airport.
