Climb Cayambe and Chimborazo two of the highest mountains in Ecuador with the best mountain guides and the best prices. Day 1: Quito
Arrival to Quito, hotel check- in, followed by a briefing about the program.
Overnight in Quito hotel. (Transfer In/Hotel)

Day 2: Quito city tour – Old town - Panecillo - Equatorial Line
This is a relaxed day to start acclimatization. The afternoon is free for you to wander.

Day 3: Otavalo - Visit
Early departure to the indigenous Otavalo Market. On the way we will enjoy some amazing views. Our first stop will be at Quitsato (Mitad del Mundo), we will continue to taste Cayambe’s famous local biscuits (biscochos). We will pass through the view site of Lago San Pablo until we arrive at the Market where you will have time to have lunch and buy handicrafts. After lunch, we will head to Cotacachi a famous town for its leather goods. Transfer to the hotel, overnight Otavalo. (Breakfast/Hotel)

Day 4.- Quito Otavalo - Cuicochacuicocha lake
After breakfast transfer to Cuicocha. Car drive will end at a height of 3.100mts where we will start our hike. Walking around the edge of the crater will take us approximately 4 ½ hrs reaching a height of 3.500mts. Lunch on the way,  overnight in Otavalo hotel. (Breakfast/Lunch/Hotel)

Day 5: Otavalo – Fuya Fuya4.220mts
We will depart Early in the morning. Hike and climb to the summit of Fuya Fuya will take approximately 4 hours. Our Starting point will be 3.700mts and we will go up to 4.220mts. This mountain will give us a good possibility to get ready to conquest Guagua Pichincha (4.784mts) and afterwards Iliniza (5.116mts) Lunch on the way, in the afternoon return to Otavalo, overnight hotel. Day 6: Otavalo - Imbabura 4.600mtshikkinga
Imbabura is an inactive volcano located 60 kilometers north of Quito and 8 km east of Otavalo. From the summit we can see Yaguarcocha Lake and Cayambe snow pick. A short drive will take us to the starting point. The ascent will take 6 - 7 hours. We will go lush moutain vegetation.  Lunch on the way in the afternoon return to the hotel. (Breakfast/Lunch/Hotel)

Day 7: Otavalo – Cayambe Refuge 5.100mts
After breakfast transfer to Cayambe. Driving on the Pan-American Highway heading north towards Cayambe town. We'll continue driving until we reach the parking area. A short hike will take us to the Oleas Refuge hut 4.700mts.cayambe2 Ice basic techniques briefing outside the refuge. Dinner and rest. (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner/Refuge)

Day 8: Cayambe Ice Climbing School
After breakfast glacier ice practice to continue acclimatizing. Return to refuge, dinner and rest.

Day 9: Cayambe Summit 5790 mts - Latacunga
We get up around midnight, have breakfast and depart to the summit following the normal route. This should take us around 6 to 7 hours and with good weather we should be able to enjoy some exceptional views of the surrounding snow picks.  Return to the refuge 2 ½ hours, transfer to Latacunga. Day 10: Latacunga - Quilotoa Lagoon
This one is kind of a resting day. We will hike down to the Quilotoa Lagoon this will take us (+-) 50 minutes. Inside the crater, we can swim or kayak for a while. Here we will be rewarded with beautiful views of the lagoon and its changing colors.  For the return, we can hike up or rent a mule. We will have lunch before visiting an Indian community. Other option can be to hike around the rim for a couple of hours and visit some Indian communities. In the afternoon, Transfer to Baños, overnight, hotel. (Breakfast/Lunch/Hotel) 

Day 11: Baños City tourhikquilot
Today is a well-earned rest day. After breakfast, we will head to the waterfalls and to the Pailon del Diablo. Overnight Baños, hotel.

Day 12: Baños - Riobamba
We will depart from Baños heading to the Pan-American Highway pass Ambato city and continue towards the Whimper Refuge at 5.000m. From here, a short trek takes us to the second refuge, the Whimper Hut at 5000m.

Day 13: Chimborazo 6.310mts
We will depart for the summit before midnight after a very early breakfast. We will follow the standard route to the top that will take us from 8 to 10 hours. Reaching the summit will be a grand achievement and you will enjoy the spectacular views. Return to the refuge more or less in 3 hours rest and then transfer to Quito. Overnight in Quito. (Breakfast/Lunch/Hotel)

Day 14: Riobamba

Day 15: Quito
