BIKING THROUGH THE HIGHLANDS 15D

chaquian

This biking program is designed to give you the opportunity to see a great deal of Ecuador, yet have the comfort of car transfers between biking sites of interest, helping to avoid cycling on busy roads or through urban landscapes. As with all our tours, program will take you off the beaten track and introduce you to some of Ecuador's hidden treasures. Each day, after completing the section, we will take you and the bikes on the jeep to your overnight hostel or hotel accommodation. In two nights, you will experience the great outdoors camping under starry skies with panoramic backdrops provided by Cotopaxi province.

As with our 8-day program, this tour takes you biking in many different areas and landscapes within Ecuador but maintaining a focus on the highland areas, starting altitude 2400m and above. The program is designed for 4-5 hours biking however, this may change as being the highlands, hill ridding is a significant part of the biking days and different people will clearly manage this at different speeds.
