Day 1: Airport - QuitoPaso
Transfer In Hotel
Quito overnight. (Transfer/Hotel)

Day 2: Quito – Pasochoa 4.200mts
We will hike for + - 4 hours until we reach the highest peak. At the top, we will have lunch, while we enjoy a spectacular view of the Cotopaxi volcano and other nearby snowy peaks. In the route of these impressive trails, we can observe an incredible variety of wildlife. In the afternoon return to Quito, overnight. (Lunch/Hostel)

Day 3: Quito - Guagua Pichincha 4.784mt
The Guagua Pichincha is an ideal place to acclimatize before attempting any of the snowy peaks in Ecuador due to its altitude, location, and refuge. The summit can be reached in + - 4 hours of moderate walking, this mountain is the base to start good acclimatization. From the summit, you will have an incredible view of the entire Andean region. In the afternoon, transfer to El Chaupi. (Breakfast/Dinner/Overnight Sacha Lodge Hostel)

Day 4: Sacha Lodge - Inliniza North Summit
Very early breakfast followed by a hike to the summit of Iliniza North following the normal route and the principal ridge. Usually, this summit has very little snow and it is easy to reach without crampons, just good sturdy walking boots. Hiking is approx. 7 Ilinizhours up and down. Descend to La Virgen. Overnight El Caupi. (Breakfast/Dinner/Hostel)

Day 5: El Chaupi - Quilotoa Lake
We will hike down to the Lagoon for approximately 50 minutes. Inside the crater, we can swim or kayak for a while. Here we will be rewarded with spectacular views of the Lake and admire its changing colors. For the return, we can climb up or rent a mule. We will have lunch before visiting an Indian community. Overnight in Latacunga. (Breakfast/Lunch/Hotel)

Day 6: Latacunga - Cotopaxi National Park 4.800mts
Transfer to the Refuge driving on the Pan-American Highway until we reach the National Park. Lunch on the way. We'll continue driving to the parking area at 4.600mts. A short hike will take us to Jose Ribas Refuge 4.800mts. briefing about basic climbing techniques outside the refuge. Dinner and rest at the refuge. (Breakfast/Dinner/Refuge)

Day 7: Cotopaxi Summit 5.897mts - Quito
We get up around midnight, get ready, have breakfast and then depart to the summit following the normal north route. Reaching the summit should take us around 6 to 7 hours and with good weather as the sunrises we should be able to enjoy some exceptional views. Return to the refuge for 2 ½ hours, then to the parking area. Transfer to Quito.

Private transportation during the program (6 days), entrance to National Parks, ASEGUIM Mountain guide (1 for every 2 people) accommodations: 1 night Quito, 1-night Machachi (tourist class hotels double occupancy breakfast included). Mountain refuges: 2 nights El Chaupi, 1 night Cotopaxi refuge and mountain meals: lunch, breakfast, and dinner (El Chaupi and Cotopaxi refuge).
