Cayambe is the only volcano in the world that is crossed by the Ecuadorian Line.  It is located 65 Km. Northeast of Quito.  As we drive on the Pan-American Highway, we will enjoy beautiful scenarios and incredible snow picks that surround us.

Day 01.-  Quito - Fuya -Fuya 3.700mts
We will hike to the summit in approximately 4 hours. Our Starting point 3.700mts - up to 4.220mts. Our first stop Caricocha lake then we will continue around the other 2 lakes Huarmicocha and Yanacocha 3,700mt enjoying the view of these three lakes. On a clear day, we will observe the snow-capped volcanoes: Cotapaxi, Cayambe and Antisana, the craters of Cotacachi and Imbabura. Lunch on the way. Overnight Otavalo. (Breakfast/Hotel)

Day 02.- Otavalo - Cayambe Refuge 4.800mts
After breakfast visits the village and the famous Otavalo Indigenous Market. It will be a morning of rest. Lunch at a spectacular viewpoint of Cuicocha Lake known by the indigenous communities as the Lagoon of the Gods. After lunch, we'll transfer to the Refuge of Cayambe where we will have a short briefing about technical equipment and the itinerary. Dinner and rest at the refuge. (Breakfast/Dinner/Refuge)

Day 3.- Cayambe Summit 5.790mts - Quito
We get ready around midnight, have breakfast and depart to the summit. Climbing to the top can take us 6 - 7 hours, with good weather as the sun rises we should be able to enjoy some of the most exceptional views in the world. Return to the refuge 2 ½ hours, then transfer to Quito.  (Breakfast/Transfer)
